It is possible to pay installments of any member bank free of charge from Iseva, the first and leading payment service provider in Nepal. This facility will be applicable from Tuesday 22nd of June till the end of June.
During this period, any member banks and financial institutions of ISEWA will not be charged any fees for paying installments or sending money.
Subhas Sapkota, chief executive officer of Iseva, said that this facility was given with the aim of encouraging digital transactions and paying loan installments easily during the Covid epidemic.
He said, ‘Isewa is always working in the interest of the users. Now there is a situation of covid epidemic. As it is now the end of June, you may have to pay the bank installment. On the other hand, digital business needs to be encouraged. In such a situation, we have given the facility to pay installments free of charge with the aim of making a small profit.’
Currently, the number of people who have directly opened an account in Iseva, which provides services that can be paid through mobile and internet, is around 45 lakh.
In the same way, about 16 million people are receiving services indirectly through ISEWA. Currently, there are more than 100,000 Iseva agents (Iseva zones and points) across the country. At present, the number of merchants in Iseva has exceeded three lakh.
In addition to payment of insurance premiums, payment of share transactions, payment of mobile phone, telephone, internet, electricity and water charges, recharge, airplane, bus ticket, school and college fees can be paid from Iseva.
There are currently 50 banks and financial institutions as members of Iseva. You can easily deposit money from these banks to Iseva and send money from Iseva to your bank account.
