Oppo has been honored with the “Disruptive Device Innovation” award at the 2022 Global Mobile (GLOMO) Awards at MWC22 Barcelona.
This award is given to Opo for the Hinge and Display organization in Find N. The awards were announced via Mobile World Live at a virtual event co-sponsored by Sasha Twining and Jantin Springham. The event was streamed via LinkedIn to viewers around the world.

The co-judging panel of the GLOMO Awards, chaired by CCS Insight Executive Chairman Shawn Collins, includes 200 independent industry experts, researchers, journalists, academics, mobile operator representatives and CTOs.
The Disruptive Device Innovation category specializes in evaluating innovations in hardware and software to enhance performance and overall user experience in new technological products. This title is specifically given for the separate, self-developed hinge mechanism in Oppo’s Find N, as well as for the separate exterior design.
The Find N Oppo is the first flagship foldable smartphone to be unveiled in late 2021. Due to its design with special care for ease of performance, Find N can be easily operated with one hand when needed and can also be folded and enjoyed on the big screen.
Oppo has provided its Flex Hinge design, especially to solve the crease problem seen on the screens of foldable phones. The new hinges reduce the screen crease and increase reliability, as well as help the screen stand up freely (50-120 degrees) at different angles. To date, more than 1 million orders have been received for Find N.
