Virtual education and the Problems of the village

The Government of Nepal now needs to rethink its approach to online classes and its effectiveness. This system, which has been brought to the forefront of the city-centered situation, can be used as a good and new experiment as well as a new dimension for a country like Nepal, which is entering the digital age.

This is not a bad thing at all. Apart from that, looking at the information and communication sector of Nepal today, are all Nepalis fully benefited from it?

In such a situation, how effective is the ‘virtual education’ called by the central government and the state government? To benefit only a few students in urban areas. It is important for everyone to meditate.

How to get access to convenient internet where you have to wait for 3 hours to make a call. How foolish it would be to imagine a television set in a place where you still have to light a small lamp.

In such a situation, would it be relevant to sit in the capital of the center and the state and discuss about the television class online class? Not only that, more than 60% of the students studying in the city are from rural areas.

Not only the students but also some rural schools and their teachers have not seen what computer is like till now. In addition, most of the students have gone home due to coronation. That is why they seem to be deprived of everything.

In such a situation, how effective is the ‘virtual education’ called by the central government and the state government? To benefit only a few students in urban areas. It is important for everyone to meditate.

As a person involved in the field of information technology and seeing such a situation in the country and working day and night to advance the information technology itself, I now feel inferior when I do not see online education effective and considering the situation in different parts of the country.

Also, while listening to the news and updates of the online classes everywhere, it has been seen that there is a psychological effect on the schools, teachers, students and parents in the rural areas.
